“This was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Europe. The hotel was updated, clean, and had a kind and welcoming staff. I really appreciated the uniqueness of the property and the excellent fresh breakfast. We had issues at every other hotel we booked so it was really nice to have such a good experience here after the disastrous week!
If I ever make it back to GroßKarlBach I will be booking again. 💖”

“Absolute gem. This lovely little chalet/hotel is located in the woods. Has free parking. Very accommodating staff despite my lack of German. There were packets Haribos on my pillow!! Good temperature in the room, lovely surrounding area. I didn’t stay long enough to explore the woods and I regret not being able to do so.
It has a lovely looking restaurant/bar although I didn’t have a chance to eat here.
Bit of a pickle to get to but worked it out the second time round (ended up in the woods……
