Zilwa is with no doubt one of the best options to stay in MAuritius, for a reasonable price. It has 6 restaurants (including one in a private island where you can take a bbq), 2 in the beach and 3 inside the hotel. Staff is very kind maybe too young and junior but still nice, good entertaintment, strong wifi, good food and different buffet every night, and all in an amazing and relaxing place. But all this for a reasonable price, which is makes the difference with the other hotels in MAuritius, which are amazign also but prices are too high. So for me, after 10 years travelling to Mauritius, definetely, the best choice value-for-money.

Amazing view

We recently stayed at Victoria Beachcomber as an Indian family with kids, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is amazing—massive, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The sunset views from the resort are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was very comfortable and offered lovely views with easy access to the beach, making it especially convenient for families. As vegetarians, we initially found the buffet options somewhat limited. However, Chef Iqbal went above and beyond to take special care of us throughout our stay. Every day, he lovingly prepared delicious Indian curries and fresh rotis, ensuring that we always had a satisfying meal. His hospitality and personal attention truly made a difference. The Kids Club was another standout feature. Our 8-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the games and activities organized by the team. The staff took excellent care of the children, keeping them engaged and entertained, which allowed the adults to relax and enjoy the resort. We also loved the complimentary water activities. The glass-bottom boat, paddle boat, and kayak were fantastic additions and added a lot of fun to our holiday. Every evening, the resort organized cultural dance performances showcasing local traditions and dance forms, followed by a DJ night. These events created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into the local
