“good location, excellent easy parking in the free car park literally 50 yards away. close to town and nearby coffee shop and fish n chip shop. - all in all a good location for exploring the Peak District - everything is kind of 10 miles or 20 minutes way in nice country roads. “2 bed house in quiet street. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. House was clean and basically furnished. Everything worked as it should. Nice bathroom with shower. Driveway if required. Close to town centre (£5 in taxi). Can’t comment as to local amenities or public transport as we never used them. Contact with owner was easy and we had no issues. ”

“We had booked to stay here and check in at 4pm. By 6pm we still had no check in details despite attempting to contact the host on multiple occasions. None of the customer services team could help only advised they would get back to us which they never did. We asked for a refund by 8pm as we needed to find alternative accommodation and were told we’ve got to wait an hour for the host to see if they contact before we can start a refund process. “A group of 8 of us stayed at Rotherham House for a lowkey Hen Do and it was absolutely perfect for us! It was beautifully clean and everything was as described. Everything was fully stocked and there was anything we could need readily available at the property.
