Perfect place to stay with young kids - trampoline, playground and animals to feed kept our 3yo very entertained. Very quiet and safe. Clean and well equipped. Only thing that would make it better is a spa pool!

The only downside was the reception office that’s been placed in an improvised shipping container, I believe some buildings are undergoing renovations so I assume this is temporary. Other than that I only have good notes on this property. Feeding the alpacas was a nice add on for our kids. Great place to stay close to all the main area attractions. Quiet and comfortable.

Staff helpful… new rooms under construction So old rooms don’t have Netflix and tv was hard to use . On saying that staff offered extra discount next visit . Kids loved they had alpacas .

We loved our stay at Hideaway as a family of 4. The rooms were newly renovated and had everything we needed, excellent playground complete with sandpit and trampoline for the kids, as well as the friendly Alpacas we could hand feed right in the backyard. The location was so convenient to Fairy Springs attractions, supermarket and central Rotorua. Thank you for accommodating our little sausage dog too :)

The room was a great setup for a family with a separate kids room away from the main living area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. YouTube on the tv was helpful with the kids. Bathroom spotless and nice tub. Alpacas, a sheep and bunnies were on the property and the owner gives you food you can hand feed them. Great playground and grassy area for kids to play on. Really friendly and helpful owner!
