“Our room smelled of feet and there was a large toenail clipping on the floor when we arrived. I don't think that the room had been vacuumed, though the bed was made. There was no fan in the bathroom, which was really hot compared to the room itself. The whole building seemed old and worn down. The pillows were small and flat, but the bed was comfortable. Tami, the lady who checked us in and out, was really nice. Honestly, she seemed like she belonged in a much better hotel. We did not try the……

“It was an okay stay. Older, but maintained. The staff was more than kind and helpful.”

“Room was dirty, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom. Room floors needed to be swept and mopped. Had to ask staff to come sweep and mop. Even after they said they did the dead bugs were still in the corner. Bathtub was gross and dirty. No extra toilet paper, one washcloth for two people. Microwave door was broken. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve stayed in places for less with way better service and way cleaner.”

“The front desk staff was friendly, polite, and very efficient during check-in, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean. The carpet had multiple sticky spots, the toilet was dirty, and there was hair in both the bathroom and the bathtub, making it seem like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. We were only there for about six hours to get a quick nap before continuing our trip, so we didn’t……

“Beautiful hotel! So glad we picked this over other options in the area without question. The rooms were great, easy parking, awesome atmosphere, great bar, restaurant, speak easy. Coffee shop next door. Nice to walk on main street and walked to the Royal Gorge train as well. If you are looking for a place to stay in Canon City, I would highly recommend! (I don't usually write reviews but it was a great stay!)”
