"We absolutely loved our stay at Olive, it has a lovely big secure garden which was great for our dog. The actual cottage is lovely, a perfect sized space with everything you need to just relax and enjoy time there. The shower is phenomenal! The area has lots of good walks, ideal if you have a dog, we were out for 3 hours on some days. We would definitely stay again."

"Thank you June and Mark for a lovely stay at Little Beeches. We felt welcomed from the start. The home is tasteful and homely. While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. The kitchen is well stocked with decent cookware and crockery making cooking easy and pleasant. Having use of a washer and dryer was a huge help. The entire property was spotless. "Excellent breakfast, fresh hot and cold food with great choice of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Nice cozy bar. Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also. "

"Do not stay here. Everything that could be bad was. The heating was on maximum in the room which we couldn't control, maybe 30c in there when we arrived? The air con did not work and the window would not open. The wallpaper was coming off the walls and ceiling and the bathroom paint was peeling all over the ceiling. There was also rust and mould everywhere in the bathroom. I did ask for assistance at reception but they just said the air con was broken. I asked for a fan but it didn't arrive before we decided we could not spend the night there and sought alternative accommodation for the night. This hotel needs urgent refurbishment before it should be open to the public. "
