The check-in process was smooth with a warm and friendly receptionist. The room was very clean. We were here only one night, but enjoyed dining at a restaurant within walking distance.

This is a beautiful B and B, everything was first class . Bed was very large and comfortable. Staff needs to know that a deaf person can communicate for him/her self and should address the deaf person not the other person with them.

Safe, comfortable and what you need

This is a great hotel for family's or a solo stay. This is not a luxurious stay, but it is safe, comfortable and gives you what you need. However, there are suites that may meet you luxurious needs. The rooms are clean, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I have been there for both. The staff is polite and professional. The hotel is very close to food and drink. The location is right in the hart of this historic little town and just yards from Lake Ontario.

This was a terrible place to stay we had a family emergency and the hotel was locked down tight no staff whatsoever all outside doors were locked there was a number on the door when we finally contacted him he was at a party he sent us a code to get in it was the wrong code so we couldn't get in finally after an hour of try to make them understand it was an emergency the hotel finally got someone from next door to let us in this place was a total nightmare

Weird experience

A very strange experience. Woman who checked me in then walked me to my room instead of just handing me the key. When we got there the room was wide open. No attention to details in our room. There was so much wrong, check out the captions to my 8 attached photos. Two entrances were easily accessible to people not staying at the hotel. Teeny ice machine at breakfast nook had very old looking ice. Really in need of many minor repairs and a good cleaning.

So much in one photo. A drippy stain of some sort on the outlet, empty tissue holder although there was a different shaped box on the sink. Poorly covered screw holes or something. And what’s that, a toilet roll holder? A soap dish? No one knows.

I’m pretty sure that someone lives in out assigned room and they just vacated for the night. This is about of stuff to leave behind and not to be found by the cleaner. Though I think no cleaner has been in there in a very long time.

Masks required? In 2024? No one has noticed this sign recently?

Robes were men’s size L and women’s size small lol. The average American women’s sizes definitely not small.

no staff on duty for most of time. poor self service breakfast which was removed early. no lounge. no gym. no elevator. Very poor experience one day left early. manager could not be found to discuss partial refund. Very disappointing

The room unbeknownst to us was in a state of renovation. Peeling wallpaper and water stained ceiling. We were not aware that this would be what the hotel was like. Pictures of the hotel showed pretty rooms and a walk through the hotel were the beautiful rooms. We were on a 3 floor no elevator. Called desk because a bunch of bugs got into the room and it was suggested they can though the window air conditioner. He offered to come up to vacuumed them. Asked why we were given this room and they said we made our reservation on Expedia and it should have been noted the room was being renovated he also complained that Expedia charges 17 percent to which I found off putting since it helped us find accommodations since we didn’t know the area . Feel like we were misled and once there had no recourse as it was late and we lugged our stuff up to 3 floor. During check in no one offered to assist us and the lady checking us in was not helpful or friendly with providing information. Overall meh

The rooms here are absolutely beautiful. They have been newly renovated and furnished perfectly. The room was spotless and very spacious. There are quite a few restaurants in the area with very little walking. Don’t miss out on this little gem by the water!
