I enjoyed staying at this condo. It was so peaceful. The sunrise from the back patio, living room, and bedroom were all amazing. It didn't matter which you chose to vie it from (but I suggestsittingon the patio). An extra bonus you can see the ocean from the patio and was jut a short walk from the condo. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. Also, being alone, I felt completely safe. My husband and I are planning for our anniversary trip there. Can't wait!

Pros: Beautiful area, very serene, saw birds, turtles, fish, crabs, and snakes, the beach is stunning in a natural setting, condo just steps from boardwalk to beach, and a pool, large deck porch, many restaurants close by, state park close by. Cons: Kitchen was not a chef's paradise, little counter space, every knife was very dull and useless, the spices were old, found one pan was crusted with burnt food, limited supplies of paper towels, and toilet paper, and gave only one trash bag, the shower is set so that you can not take a hot shower!!! all other taps worked fine, not as upscale as I thought the furnishings need improvement, pools are not heated.

The good, beautiful property, huge TV in living room. The beach is a good walk out, but it is really nice once you get out there! Plenty of the kitchen area to cook if you want to! The Keurig was really convenient to use as well. The bad, the bed was a little too soft for us, we like a harder bed not a soft one :) We got locked out the first night, and the manager helped us get back inside - it took a couple of hours.

The island is absolutely beautiful and the resort pools are close for walking with little ones. The beach is breathtaking full of tidal pools, shells and calm water to explore. We made great memories exploring and playing. The back porch was an absolute gem for morning coffee, lunch outdoors and access to the beach. About 20 minutes to Beaufort for restaurants or shopping. Overall the house was comfortable and the location was great.

This nice one bedroom condo is located on a marsh with wooden walkways to the wide harbor beach. Beautiful sunrises over the marsh grasses. A quiet area to enjoy nature, walk or ride bikes.

The condo was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. Wasn’t pleased with how far the tide went out. You had to walk almost a football field length to get to the water. The tide would come in and the water would be as close as most beaches but it was later in the evening. Also there’s not a lot of restaurants near by so buy groceries for your stay and plan on cooking unless you want to drive for 30 minutes. But those things didn’t spoil the trip. It’s truly a beautiful location.

I booked this for my annual Momcation. The condo was great! Super clean, spacious, and the location to the beach (which was non-negotiable for me) was top-notch! Check in and check were both a breeze. The only thing I would change is the water temperature in the full bath. The shower was on the cold side of lukewarm and the faucet is fixed so that you can't turn it more for hotter water. However, I will still be returning despite that! 9 out of 10 stars.

We enjoyed our stay at Turtle’s Nest. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and bed, gorgeous views of the dunes and ocean. It was nice to be able to walk out on the boardwalk to the beach. First stay/visit to Harbor Island. The ocean is a LONG way from the shore at low tide, maybe 200 yards or more, but at high tide it’s a normal beach area of 30-40 feet. You’ll love the close proximity to Hunting Island State Park, and closeness of Beaufort and Port Royal. Lots of great restaurants and amazing historic homes to see.
