There’s free transportation to Flores available by boat before 8 pm, and for a small fee boat will transport you to surrounding areas after hours. I scheduled the boat at 2:30 am to make it to Flores for my tour to Tikal and for 3 consecutive nights to pick me up after dinner. They also have a complimentary use of 2 kayaks. I used a kayak to visit a museum in Isleta Santa Barbara, and just for fun around the island. Food is also available and affordable on site. I highly recommend Las Luciérnagas, you’ll enjoy your stay! Every meal was something we looked forward to. The view was simply amazing and made our stay even more special. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unforgettable.
