Great hotel, close to Riverwalk

The rooms were clean. The location is great. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast is good. We would stay here again.

It's Ok. Nothing spectacular.

Pros: Close to Riverwalk.
Cons: Free parking would be very nice. We already pay enough and still had to pay for parking was ridiculous.
Location: Riverwalk
The bathtub water jets did not work. Very disappointing.

Convenient location & friendly staff

The O'Brien was convenient to everything we wanted or needed to do. The parking made it super convenient to go further afield. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good. My kids loved the waffles and the adults loved the eggs and bacon. Super convenient to the river walk without the price or the noise.

Everything was great but the parking. What a mess. Hotel and staff was excellent in my opinion!!

This was a very nice hotel. Had a New Orleans vibe about it, which was a plus for me. This was a last minute family trip and I was looking for something by the Riverwalk that did not cost a fortune and found this place. I will say I didn't really like the picture it had on the website of the front of the hotel. It looked a little run down and sketchy but I decided to book anyway. I could not have been more pleased. The pics on line do not do the place justice. Very cute and quaint place. The parking was very reasonable and just steps from the hotel entrance. The staff was great and the hotel smelled very clean from lobby to room. Beds were very comfortable and my room was very clean. Full breakfast and very good WiFi. I have stayed in many hotels downtown, most of which would be considered high end, but when I go back to SA, I will be staying at the O'brien.

It was a block to the riverwalk, walking distance to the Majestic theatre where we were going to a show, rooms were clean, beds comfortable, breakfast looked good however didn't have time to enjoy it. We would definitely stay again when in San Antonio. Forgot to mention how friendly the staff was.
