“What an absolute gem of a place. I didn't want to leave! After a 2 week road trip, we wanted somewhere an 'easy' drive of SJO airport before our longhaul flight, and this place was perfect. We felt it extended our holiday because we instantly totally relaxed. The rooms had lovely comfortable beds and stunning views. The pool was amazing, as was the yoga room, the food was delicious and cooked with love. All the staff were delightful, making sure we were able to have massages in the beautiful……

“First, the staff were very nice. That's why you got 1 star. The room was not good at all. One bedroom had no working light. There were no bath towels for the bedroom. The cord to operate the blind in BR#2 was broken so the blind wouldn't open. There were no filters for the coffee maker nor were there any paper towels even for the kitchen. The pool was filthy. Instead of providing us a room, we were told we could get a better room if we paid for an upgrade. I didn't want an "upgrade" I……

“Cute idea, just poorly executed! The domo has no actual floor its just some boards with bamboo between some of the larger gaps, so the dome is filled with spiders, crickets, ants and other bugs. Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep. Also when we got there the dome looked cute but hadn't actually been cleaned properly, stains on the pillow cases and sheets. Very……

“The room and facilities were clean, my only complaint would be the area itself, out of control of the hotel. There was someone sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when we arrived and there really isn’t much to offer in the area. We only stopped for the night to catch the ferry the next day and thought that there would be more to see. ”

“Amazing staff and absolutely delicious breakfast!! Property was well maintained and welcoming, and the fireplace was lovely in the evening. The rooms are cozy, with spacious modern bathrooms, warm water, and good pressure, which was especially wonderful after a long day of activities. There is limited storage for clothing, just 2 small benches and a few hooks - fine for a solo traveler but could get a bit crowded with 2 people. “ Difficult to find in the dark but there is gate with name on it and they’ll open it for you to enter . Parking at mini-house. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. Deck with sun bathing area. Jet tub. Patio. Good wifi. Fans. Big zapper. Lots of bugs. Water was not always hot but warm. Great onsite hike with amazing views! Would come back!”

“Our room was clean and the staff was awesome. We saw wildlife and the most beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was a very good vegetarian breakfast. Sophia was amazing and the gentleman who served breakfast was delightful.”
