“Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay.”

“I had high expectations going in after reading about the property in the NYT. Jim and Rebecca are the consummate hosts and took care of every detail. If you ever need your faith in humanity restored, this is the place to visit. The cabin is well appointed, and although without running water, heat or electricity, you can get all of these at the nearby Narnia house, if you so choose. The fireplace is exceptionally well-designed and highly efficient, so even though it was near freezing outside, we……

“The lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. It is an old hotel & the years has shown the wear. Even though they tried to improve it, there were many things that still need upgrading. The bathroom had a bad smell...no exhaust fan. The shower 🚿 wasn't bad but the tub floor was not level. There seemed to have a crack in it. The breakfast had a lot to be desired...very limited to the choices. Earlier in the day I called the actual Day Inn by Wyndham. The gentleman told me they didn't have……

We cooked all our breakfast and dinners at the cabin, and the kitchen was well stocked.We loved having a hot tub soak first thing in the morning and then later in the evening after hiking all day. Communication with Dylan was excellent. We would like to come back one day to this cabin.”
