"From the check-in moment we were treated like VIPs, the team provided truly personal attention. Everyone was very friendly, attentive and remembered our names and room number. This small property was a great choice for us to escape the loud crowds, while still being right in front of of the beach. Whenever I wanted to venture outside and explore landmarks (Cane Garden, ferry dock, oad Town,etc) staff provided helpful guidance and even arranged taxi transportation. Food and cocktails at the on-site restaurants offered great variety and were delicious (breakfast was included and great as other reviewers mentioned). Everything in my room looked and smelled brand clean/new, and of high quality. Even the decorative pillows were beautifully hand-painted—this speaks to the attention to detail that has been put into this place."

"This was an amazing villa. Views were spectacular. Nice, calm, and quiet. Clean infinity pool that also had a fantastic view. Each room was stocked up with towels and bath products. The villa itself was stocked with pool towels, pool floats, and everything needed to cook meals in the kitchen. Sunscreen and bug spray were also provided (which we definitely appreciated!). Our host was great—easy to contact, checked in on us, and set us up with a contact to get a taxi to get around the island. Would definitely stay again if we get the chance in the future!"

"Clean room. Only suggestion is instead of advertising as a 2 bedroom suite it is a studio with one bedroom. Second bed is in the kitchen area and has no privacy."

"This was our second stay at Great House Villa, and it was just as unforgettable as the first. We were welcomed by breathtaking views and beautifully maintained grounds that make this property a peaceful paradise.Saga, the caretaker, is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. He made sure we had everything we needed while also giving us the space to relax and truly enjoy the villa. His care and pride in the property are evident in every detail.The water views are nothing short of spectacular, especially from the pool and the grill area, where we spent many relaxing hours.Tuna, the friendly cat who roams the property, was always a welcome visitor and added to the charm of our stay.Cathryn made the booking process seamless and was always responsive whenever we had questions.Great House Villa truly felt like a home away from home. We look forward to staying again."

"Absolutely amazing stay! From Reservations to check in, Karen and Nigel were warm, efficient and helpful. The views are amazing, the terrace was a lovely spot for coffee, re-charging and a glass of wine in the evening. The space is airy and bright and the location between White and Great Bay can’t be beat. Very easy to walk down to the ferry or Great Bay. We walked to White Bay quite often-it is definitely more challenging but we appreciated the opportunity to not have to work out while on vacation! We rented one of the cars for a day to see the island, which was perfect-went to the Bubbly Pool, Sidney’s, Abe’s, Taboo and hiked a bit. Driving is not for the faint of heart, but taxis are available! Will recommend to anyone going to JVD and look forward to our next trip!"
