The bottom floor smelled like urine and musk. The railing on the staircase inside was wobbly and unsafe. Carrying luggage up the steps was difficult. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and bleach. We specifically asked for a nonsmoking room (the whole hotel is supposed to be non-smoking), but it stunk. Each time the air conditioning came on the smell got worse. It caused us to have a headache. The bathroom light is on a timer, and some of the lights in the room didn't work. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and extremely old with holes throughout it. The bedskirt didn't fit and the duvet was extremely thin. I've stayed at Motel 6s that were nicer than this. There was mold on the sink inside the room area. I understand that this property isn't meant to be a 5 star hotel, but the conditons were appalling for the prices they're charging.

No Hot Water! At check in I had to bang on the door for 10 minutes to get someone to open the door. Not all doors into the property work, so you have to walk around the building to get in. The mattress is hard as a concrete floor. And last for now the room needed to be painted there are other issues, but spare yourself the agrivition and stay somewhere else.

What I liked most was that it was near everything that I needed. Walmart, gas stations, car wash, Big Lots, and most fast food locations were only a few blocks away What I didn't like was that the pool was not open. It was hot and other motels had their pools open! It would have been nice to take a dip in the pool in the heat of the afternoon. Also, I was disappointed that they did not have a computer in the lobby. They had a microwave which was good! You could reheat a dinner you didn't finish and get 2 meals out of it. But trying to find places to go and things to do would have been much easier if there was a computer to use! Doing this on your phone was not easy and I just thought If I had a computer to use, it would have been easier...bigger sceens, maps would be easier to read and more content on the places of interest would have been available!

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Inn Santa Fe. I thought the room was a bit empty, as there wasn’t much furniture other than the basic bed, tv, dresser and desk. The ice bucket was dirty, so I used a water bottle instead. It was quiet and checkin/checkout was easy. The area is alright, and is close to many businesses.

Jocilin, who checked us in, was fabulous. She was so friendly, attentive and quick. She answered all our questions and was so nice. Great experience on arrival. Didn’t really interact with anyone else but appreciate the location.

The noise from my room with Motel 6 next door across the parking lot and terrific noise from Cerrillos Rd was horrible . I put 2 pillows Over my head and still couldn’t sleep. Air conditioner was great. Staff was nice.

The mattresses are beyond needing replaced - they are hard as rocks and you can feel the springs - so bad we had to bring in our camp sleeping pads and put them on the bed to sleep :( Everything else good - very basic property but that is what we expected...
