There is a possibility of nearby construction, community changes and projects on the roads and bridges along 30A year-round and throughout every single community. Best VRBO Stay

This was one of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had. The property manager was extremely responsive. The property was in a perfect location. The pool was lovely. I would stay again!

Summer 2023 family vacation

The place was perfect for us. Kids and spouse came and mom and I were able to have our own place in the carriage house to go to bed early if we wanted. Richard went above and beyond helping us get set up and took care of any needs we had.

Amazing family vacation!

We absolutely loved our family vacation. So much that we didn’t want to leave. It’s the perfect location but is about 3 blocks from the beach. Home decor was beautiful and bedding and linens were very comfortable. Home is in a private location and upscale neighborhood. Back yard and pool was a plus. However, pricing to heat the pool was excessive. This should be inclusive given the rental price. We loved this rental and will be back.

Amazing stay at Birdie’s Nest!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The carriage house was wonderful for our family that stayed with us that didn’t have kids— grandparents, parents, and little ones stayed in the main house. The location is great- a sleepy, quiet street but a short golf cart ride to the shops and restaurants. Beach access is super convenient. We rented a golf cart (highly recommend for this area!!) from the host, Richard, who went above and beyond to help us. I also definitely recommend setting up beach chair/umbrella reservations… it was worth the money to not have to lug more gear to/from. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with high end decor and finishes. The private pool and screened in patio was great for little kids who are too tired to go back out to the beach in the afternoon. It was also nice to have extra gates/doors around the pool if you’re traveling with little ones. I cannot recommend this house and this host enough!

Very nice!

Nice clean property. Beds are comfortable. We heated the pool and that was a plus. Note beach towels are NOT included. Check in time is not till 5 PM and you have to leave at 10 AM on check out day. Stop at the Publix on the way in to buy paper towels, trash bags, and soap for the bathrooms. They literally had an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, but no soap. Also realize there’s construction all around the house from 8 in the morning till five at night every day. Even on Saturday. We didn’t stay Sunday, The house is well insulated so you don’t hear it with the windows closed, but it’s very loud when you sit by the pool or you try to sit on the porch in the front of the house or the veranda in the back. Bikes are included. We never used those, but they looked nice. The beach is quite close and there are stairs. There is umbrella and chair service. You can schedule online or at the beach once you get there. Four small folding chairs to go to the beach are included.

Great family vacation

Beautiful accommodations. Convenient to beach, Seaside, grocery store, many restaurants. Fit our family of 10 (8 adults, 2 infants) very well. Definitely on a return list.

Another Excellent Stay

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Birdie's Nest. The house was in excellent condition and extremely comfortable. The quiet neighborhood location, along with the convenience to the beach and bars and restaurants of Seaside made the visit even better.

Wonderful trip

This was the second time we have stayed at this property. It is close enough to walk to Seaside and to the beach but far enough off the main road to reduce the traffic and noise.

First week of summer!

This location is excellent! It’s quiet, but convenient walking distance to beach access, restaurants, and shopping. The manager of the property was very helpful with information and helpful when we had questions. The house sets up nicely for a large group. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. The porches and pool area offered a great relaxation space after a day on the beach. I gave this location 5 stars, but I do have suggestions: 1. There was no storage space available for our dry food goods. We did a bit of rearranging of all the small appliances, cookware, and serving pieces to store our food. It would be helpful to keep a few cabinets empty to hold food/snacks so as not to clutter up the countertop space. 2. There was only a single pot holder and one kitchen towel provided. Fortunately, we brought extra as this seems to be a common occurrence at VRBO locations. These are by no means deal breakers, but items to note so you can be prepared. It was a wonderful vacation home and we hope to return again for the fall break.

Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to 30A since 1981, I have rented houses and condos on 30A at least 2 to 3 times a year and have owned rentals in the area as well. Birdie's Nest was by far the best house I have ever rented. My family came down to run the Seaside Half Marathon so we wanted to be close to Seaside. The location was great, the house was incredibly clean, very well decorated, and had every amenity you could ask for. My kids loved the pellet ice machine! The heated pool was great especially after the race. We will be booking again for next year.

Family vacation at the beach

Our extended family of 7 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well appointed home. We enjoyed the pool, the 4 bikes, and having the separate space of the carriage house. The beds are very comfortable. The property is only a short walk from the beach and a short bike ride from Seaside square. We would definitely stay here again.

Birdie's Nest is the BEST

What a beautifully appointed and comfy home! Everything about Birdie's Nest is perfect. We travel frequently with friends and always struggle to find accommodations that are appropriate for adults (3 kings, 2 queens here - thank you!) The decor is stunning, the house is a showplace, but also warm, comfortable, and inviting. All the rooms have privacy. There are 2 porches and a carriage house to spend quiet time, and the pool in the center is a perfect gathering spot. We are frequent visitors to 30A and the Seagrove/Seaside area, and this house couldn't be in a more perfect spot. The location one block off the beach is so great - it was nice after a day at the beach to come back to the pool to cool off - and just a quick walk. The kitchen has everything under the sun you'd want or need - including a wine fridge and separate ice maker - so helpful! We absolutely loved our time here - we will certainly be back! THANK YOU for sharing your home with us!

Amazing vacation

This year was our third visit to this area and this home was our favorite by far. Beautifully decorated, plenty of space for our family, quiet area just off 30A with a short walk to the beach.

The house is a premier location to everything! Especially the beach. Just walking distance and the access point to the beach is easy to get to. The beach itself seems closer to the stairs versus other areas. Nice when lugging around wagons, etc. The home was so clean and comfortable for a family. The couches and beds are super comfortable. And the kitchen is very well stocked! The separate carriage house is great for a family with a baby or nanny! We want to book this next year!

Beach House Bliss!!

This home is absoultely gorgeous and decorated to perfection. The temperpedic mattress top was like home! There is everythin you need in this home. It is a short walk to the beach and Seaside Center. The pool is beautiful. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. By far our favorite rental and can't wait to return!! Thank you!

Reviewer Comments: The house was just as beautiful as the pictures and Exclusive 30a were incredibly competent organizing a private chef for us and making sure our stay was smooth. One major problem however was that there was loud construction work going on in the house next door for the duration of our stay - we were not warned about this and had to repeatedly go over to the cos friction workers to ask them to turn down music. It made relaxing by the pool virtually impossible. Also 2 of the bikes provided with the house were broken unfortunately. Overall the house was great and check in check out process was smooth although asking your guests to empty their trash before they leave was a little extreme considering the price we paid for the property rental.
