Great place to relax

Family loved this place and all its amenities. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The queen beds upstairs left a little to be desired but still comfortable. Would stay again for sure!

Family Fun and Relaxing Getaway

Despite not the best weather we had a really nice time! So much to do nearby with shopping and restaurants on 30A. We rented a golf cart and bikes which added to the fun. Beach and water are beautiful! The kids enjoyed fishing and using the kayaks too!

Awesome! Second stay at Burning Daylight and will be back for a third.

The house is beautiful and very relaxing. We really like having the option of going the the beach or staying home and playing in the lake. The owners respond quickly to any questions and make sure you have everything needed to be comfortable.

Burning Daylight

We had a wonderful time at Burning Daylight! The house is beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed(and more!). We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and the short walk to the beach each day. The toys and Lego’s were a great addition for our kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!!

Summer dream week!

We had the absolute best week! The property is beautiful and no detail is overlooked. It felt like home. We definitely appreciated not having to pack a single item for the beach! We loved the kayaks and paddle boards and even got close to sea turtles in the ocean one day. Andra is the best host we have ever worked with and we can’t wait to go back!!

Great family getaway

This was the perfect spot to enjoy a family vacation. My kids loved fishing off the dock, and paddle boarding to the beach. I loved the walks to the coffee shop and the view. The owner is amazing when it comes to communication and friendliness. I was also grateful for all the added toys etc since we had to travel quite a distance and could not bring our own. Thank you for providing wonderful memories!

Beautiful home for a family vacation with young kids!

The home was perfect! We have rented many homes over the past 8 years all along 30a and this is our top pick. We have three young children and many details of the home were focused to their enjoyment as well. The proximity to the beach was just right and the fire pit at night made for a relaxing evening. The owners were a delight to work with and very timely with communication. We are already making plans for our next visit to this home.

Lovely Lake Home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home on Eastern Lake. We spent the mornings at beautiful Seagrove Beach, which was a short walk from the house, and in the afternoons we really enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. The s’mores in the evenings around the fire pit were also a hit! The house was very clean and exceedingly well-appointed. Also, Andra was a fantastic host. She was in frequent communication with us to ensure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you!

Magical Memories Made!

This house had everything we needed, and more, to create memories with family! The owners have thought of every detail. The house is clean, inviting and intimate. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday with a private dinner in the backyard, over looking the water, listening to the waves crash. There were toys for our 3 year old and for my 27 year old brother! Lol

Perfect vacation home!

We just returned from a week at Burning Daylight. It was the perfect rental. It was our first time staying on Eastern Lake and we loved it. The kids fished off the dock and kayaked daily. The beach is a short walk or kayak ride away. We loved having both the lake and ocean. The house itself was perfect. We had everything we needed and more! We loved all the extras that were included - kayaks, bikes, ocean toys. Andra is great to work with! We are already trying to figure out when we can visit again. This is one of the best vacations to 30A we have ever had!!

Hidden gem

This is what we have been searching for the last 10 years. Even though the weather was not great having the sup boards and kayaks available for us was just what we needed. We rented bikes so we either bikes or took one of the water toys to the beach. Loved all the space and VERY well appointed. No need to bring anything from home other than clothes. Andrea was just so easy to work with and very easy to reach. Asked if we needed anything to make our stay better. We will be back.

Best house on 30A!

I have rented on 30A more times than I can count- I have never checked in where the lights were on, music was playing, greeted by a s'mores basket, fresh oranges and a juicer, kitchen perfectly stocked with everything from seasonings to options for hot tea... we were speechless. Everything about the house was over the top! We even asked if it was for sale. We will be back!

Fantastic!!!

We had the most wonderful time! We enjoyed this home and the location so much. It was perfect! We are so grateful for every detail the owners have thought of to make vacation impressive, memorable and easy! The house was immaculate with a prefect floor plan. We loved the modern/beach design. We loved the spacious kitchen with everything we could possibly need and more. The beautiful lake was perfect for kayaking and SUP. It was so convenient to have the watercrafts ready to use at the house! Also, it was incredible to have the bikes available and ready for us to use. We loved loved loved biking down 30a and to the beach daily. The beach felt so private and even though it was Spring Break it didn’t feel crowded. We loved that! We hope to visit Burning Daylight again. We made wonderful memories!

Best. Vacation. Ever.

We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Burning Daylight when looking for our vacation spot this summer. In fact, as we studied the property through our decision making process, we kept saying to ourselves, "what's the catch?" There was no catch! This was hands-down the best vacation spot and home we've ever experienced. We've been coming to the 30A for years, but have always stayed at beachfront properties We thought we were taking a risk by sacrificing the beach and a pool for the lake, but we were wrong! We hope to stay at Burning Daylight every year for years to come. The home was in the perfect location - one of the most beautiful properties on Eastern Lake. The home had everything we needed and more! We took advantage of every square foot of the home - inside and out - and thoroughly enjoyed all the toys. We paddle boarded and kayaked mutliple times per day, had a corn hole tournament with the neighbors, rode bicycles daily, and played some serious ping pong matches. We were just a short walk or paddle board ride away from the beach, and Andra had everything we needed for a great day on the beach (umbrellas, chairs, beach toys, and a pull cart to make transferring everything seamless). Andra - thank you so much for opening your home to our family. We had one of the best vacations we can remember, and cannot wait to come back year after year. We didn't want to leave! Your communications leading up to and throughout our stay was above and beyond. Thank you again!

Beautiful location and fun for teens!

We've been vacationing at the Beaches of South Walton for seven years and this was our favorite home. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the Eastlake and a short walk to the beach. The kids could bike ride and skateboard on the road. Mostly locals live in the neighborhood, so there wasn't a lot of tourist traffic. The home was great for teens! They enjoyed fishing off of the dock on Eastlake, playing cornhole in the sandpit in the front yard, riding their bikes on 30A and hanging out at the beach. There was a tv room on the second level, just off of their bedroom, where they could watch movies. In the evening, they enjoyed making s'mores (courtesy of the homeowners) and listened to the adults tell crazy stories about growing up. The room where the kids slept accommodated smaller kids better than our growing teens. My 5'11" son was a little squished in his bed but he survived. We ate all of our meals at the home except one. The kitchen is fulling equipped with everything you need -- sharp knives (big deal if you like to cook), large cooking pots and a KitchenAid mixer. The two refrigerators and dishwashers were such an added bonus for my family and our three guests. We didn't have to make as many trips to the store and hand washing dishes was rarely necessary. We liked that there was a cupboard with some leftover spices and cooking oils. Usually home owners like you to remove everything from the cupboards. We end up buying some spices when we're on vacation and were glad to see some of the one's we were going to use already there. We also bought some and left them. The owners were incredible! They let us know that they were a phone call or text away. They told us to call with ANY problem. We didn't have any. Our family is already talking about staying there next year!

This house is an AMAZING place to stay! We had four adults and four teenagers and had so much space. The house is beautiful and incredibly clean. It has a dream kitchen, a ton of beach gear, beautiful views, and it’s a short walk or paddle to the beach. Andra is wonderful; very responsive and helpful. We will be staying here again. If you are considering this property, you should book it!

Stell-vens Vaca 2025

I cannot say enough great things about this property. My family of 10 visited *ages from 2 years of age to 72. This house was perfect for every one of us. Kayaking on the lake in the morning and then a 5-10 min walk to the beach then back to the house for a float on the lake. And the house cannot be more well stocked. We cooked all 7 days and loved every minute of it. The kitchen has it ALL. The kids all loved the game room upstairs, stocked with games, legos, books and views of the lake. You have everything you need for a day at the beach. From the wagon, to chairs, a canopy, boogie boards and sand toys. Just pack your swim suit, the house has it all. I want to thank Andra for all the communication. You were always quick to respond and our conversations always made me feel like we were friends. I would highly recommend this property and when we go back to 30A, we will look no farther than Burning Daylight.
