“The staff were amazing without exception. Reception, restaurant staff, spa attendant and the manager all made every effort to ensure we had the best stay possible. The rooms were well laid out, clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent and the parking was affordable and convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel, it is well situated right in town and would absolutely return for future stays.”

“Breakfast was included. It was a mix of cold items and warm items. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel was always clean and smelt amazing! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking is right outside for .60€/hr I don’t think I paid more then 3€ a day due to being out and about plus after 8pm it’s free until 8am. ”

The breakfasts are delicious - fresh items at the buffet with the option of choosing a freshly prepared item from the menu. Location is also great - it is around a 5 minute walk to the city centre.”

“Very charming but a few things to mention. We did have ants so we needed to make sure all snacks were put away. Coffee was not good, breakfast was good but not great. Lots of stairs and no elevator. Right in town so very nice and close to everything.”

“The hostel entrance is back from the road, but Google Maps is precise. Easy check-in information which is perfect as we landed very late in the evening. Hostel and room was fresh, modern clean and tidy. Breakfast was laid out for us in the morning with fresh coffee, meats, croissants, yoghurt and a welcoming smile. A great place to stay ”

“From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. It was a very personal experience and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The houses are secure, quiet, immaculately clean, and situated in a stunning forested area. “Welcoming and helpful staff, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and views and so much peace and quiet! We stayed in early April and the weather was beautiful but unpredictable (as usual in the Azores) and our room stayed a comfortable temperature the entire time without using the thermostat. The only change I'd make is more variety at breakfast and more opportunity to try the Azorean beef at dinner! ”
