“Highly recommend staying at this property. The staff is extremely hospitable. They ensure you are well taken care of, from recommending places to visit to booking tours. The breakfasts are delicious - fresh items at the buffet with the option of choosing a freshly prepared item from the menu. Location is also great - it is around a 5 minute walk to the city centre.”

“Breakfast was included. It was a mix of cold items and warm items. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel was always clean and smelt amazing! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking is right outside for .60€/hr I don’t think I paid more then 3€ a day due to being out and about plus after 8pm it’s free until 8am. ”

“Excellent location. Wonderful breakfasts which are included. Staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Just be aware if guests have mobility issues there is no elevator and the floors where rooms are - are reached with a lot of stairs. But staff will assist with luggage handling. Really enjoyed our stay here. Close to restaurants and quick walk to main square. Would stay here again. ”

“The hostel entrance is back from the road, but Google Maps is precise. Easy check-in information which is perfect as we landed very late in the evening. Hostel and room was fresh, modern clean and tidy. Breakfast was laid out for us in the morning with fresh coffee, meats, croissants, yoghurt and a welcoming smile. A great place to stay ”

“From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. It was a very personal experience and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The houses are secure, quiet, immaculately clean, and situated in a stunning forested area. “Welcoming and helpful staff, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and views and so much peace and quiet! We stayed in early April and the weather was beautiful but unpredictable (as usual in the Azores) and our room stayed a comfortable temperature the entire time without using the thermostat. The only change I'd make is more variety at breakfast and more opportunity to try the Azorean beef at dinner! ”

I was traveling alone and they helped plan my days by giving me places to visit and food options while there My luggage didn’t arrive for 3 days and they told me where to go for clothing as well as called the airlines for updates. The restaurant had no problems with me desiring to eat in my room instead of the establishment. Will stay there again on return ”
