I love the experience in the Embassy Suites hotels, but this in Sarasota was exceptional, The facilities are beautiful, elegant and in a very well location!!

I recently stayed at the property and it was great! The accommodations were very comfortable. The staff was helpful and the check in/out was easy. The nightly reception was a good perk and the breakfast buffet was amazing! My only takeaway is I wish that the pool area was cleaned more frequently throughout the day, other than that I have no complaints. My husband and I will most definitely be going back for another stay.

Great amenities and beautiful hotel! I’ve stayed in tourist areas with less amenities and options. The breakfast was phenomenal and abundant. Love the bar/restaurant area and complimentary happy hour. Pool is beautiful and love that it’s up high. Feels so luxurious! Rooms are awesome being a suite with a kitchenette area and large bathroom plus separate living and sleeping rooms. Parking garage is a great amenity and we were able to walk to Main Street for food drinks and shops. Will definitely be back. Such a great staycation! ONLY suggestion: logo or marker up high on the building. As a directionally challenged couple we could have used a visual walking back at night. Our fault but would have helped

The pool area was disgusting. Old French fries, blobs of ketchup and wet gross napkins all over the deck and in the pool. It was like this the whole 2.5 days we were there.

They tried to charge me $35 for self-park when I didn't have a car. When I pointed it out, they said the computer automatically adds in that charge. Dinner was good, but the last night the waiter failed to charge me for some of my items, which I had to point out, then didn't know to apply the $25 destination charge to my room, so called me to say I hadn't left enough money to cover my bill.

I was charged for a prepaid reservation. I’m now waiting to get back over $700 this hotel took. The supervisor was rude and could care less. I requested bar soap from housekeeping never received it after two calls. The hotel appears to need some serious help at the front desk and its hospitality. There are better options like the Westin.

Embassy Suites had a wonderful buffet breakfast even though eating there for lunch or dinner was on the pricey side. Cocktail hour in the evenings were ok. Having the pool on the same floor was nice. I like having the suites which have a separate couch/futon and tv separate from the main bedroom. Beds were comfy and never got any backache but linens/blankets could have been cleaner. Bathroom was a good size except it had a sliding door to close instead of a door you can lock. Showerhead pressure could have been better but was adequate. Surrounding mostly other hotels…some things are walking distance but it would be better to have a car.
