“Room was clean and well appointed. They let us into our room an our early and let us check out two hours later than the standard check out. We really appreciated that because we were only there one night. There was an issue with the fridge not working and a window not closing properly, letting in a lot of noise from the Food Hall next door. The maintenance person responded immediately and replaced the fridge and repaired the window. He also provided restaurant recommendations and advice about……

“As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“This was an interesting place. it is not a typical hotel being a 'co-living' centre with several long stay options as well as short stays. It is to the north of the city centre but within easy reach of tram and bus. The room was clean, comfortable and while not luxurious had all that could be asked. There is no restaurant or bar but the Halle Bacalan is a 10 minute walk away with a range of food bars. Breakfast is self service and fine. The staff were friendly and helpful providing advice……

“I’m glad I chose this hotel, which is conveniently located right next to the Quinconces station, making it very easy to get around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and a Carrefour market is just a short walk away. The staff are friendly and helpful, which made my stay very pleasant. The breakfast is generous and includes French specialties such as pain au chocolat, canelés, macarons, and crêpes, along with excellent coffee. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the room and……
