No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."

It's a lovely apartment in excellent condition, but it's small. My brother and I need 2 beds when we travel and there was minimal space. We had to keep our suitcases in the entryway (along with their canister vacuum). For a couple sharing the bedroom it'd be workable and cozy, but not if you need 2 beds. There is easy, free street parking and a bus stop within 100 feet that goes to the train station and on to York Minster. A bus day pass is 4.60 pounds which is hardly more than 2 one-way...

An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate.
