The AC does not work, there were fruit flies in the room. When I first got here I had to be shown 2 rooms before I settled into one. The first room smelt like cigarettes and the second room smelt like it had been “cleaned” with a dirty mop and there were stains on the sheets. I made a complaint about this and it took them over an hour to change me to the correct room. I was finally satisfied, or should I say appeased, and settled in so I could enjoy my family trip. Mind you, I am 30 weeks pregnant. So I have a good nose and a need for comfort and respect. One staff member made up for thee experience, a young black men who was courteous, kind, and helpful in getting me to a room that didn’t stink or feel dirty. While the older white woman, was very bitter, stale, and rude. I decided to stay since I already booked it all and didn’t plan on being in the rooms much. When I got here late at night around 1 am, after calling the front desk the day before, before check out around 10am, to request an extra night, the man who answered the phone said I could get the same rate and that everything was paid for. Now, at 2 in the morning, I am dealing with the white woman harassing me saying I didn’t pay, when my card was on file and I called in the morning to make sure things were squared away. She said a payment didn’t go through and I had left all my payment methods in the room, where she locked me out of. She refused to let me pay or stay, & charged my deposit. This has been horrible.
