Family Getaway
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin we rented. It was spacious and clean upon arrival. Check in was an easy process and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We enjoyed the patio for our evening dinner while being surrounded with the beauty of Oak Creek. There is access to the creek and plenty of hiking trails nearby. Chelsea was an efficient and accommodating host. She went out of her way to decorate the room for our daughter’s 16th birthday. This is definitely a hidden gem our family has found when we want to get away from the city life.

Five stars!!!
This cabin was adorable and perfect for our stay. Close to the trails and downtown Sedona yet a nice quiet retreat at the end of the day. Lovely patio in back to relax and have a glass of wine. Such a beautiful setting up against the red rocks of Oak Creek. Would definitely recommend and we hope to make it back another time!

Relaxing hideway
Overall we really enjoyed our short stay at Cozy Cabin 8 - we liked being outside of the hectic Sedona crowds. Despite being right on the highway the room was quiet. The bathroom and kitchen were cleaned very well but the rest of the space not so much. There was a large sticky spot of something right next to the bed - so floor could not have been mopped between guests. It was easy enough to clean up and didn't really effect our stay but when you pay a cleaning fee you expect that the floor to be clearn. Owners sent emails each day of our stay to check in. If you want to get out of the crowds of Sedona but still be close - this is a great location.

Weekend getaway
We had a great trip to Sedona staying at this location. Cabin 8 was clean and homey. It was my husband, myself, and our nine month old baby. The bedroom was large enough to fit our babies pack and play. The kitchen sink was full size so we were able to wash bottles every night sufficiently. The drive into Sedona takes about 10 minutes from this location so it’s still close enough to the action, while feeling like you’re in the woods. The location is nice and quiet, we had neighbors on one side of us but never heard them in their unit. We would definitely recommend this to a couple who wants to have a getaway but doesn’t want to be in a large hotel.

Cross your fingers you don't run into any issues
When we arrived we found the room hadn't been cleaned from the previous person's stay. We contacted the property owner, Chelsea to let them know and find a way to at least get some clean sheets and towels and some cleaning supplies for the night. She was very apologetic over the phone and gave us the option of staying at a different property for the night or getting clean supplies from their maintenance closet. She said she would comp us a night out of our week for the inconvenience. Since it was late (after 9), we decided to stay but get our own supplies from the maintenance closet. So we put the new bedding on and cleaned the bathroom ourselves, and the next day the property manager had the room fully cleaned. After we checked out we hadn't received a refund for a night of our stay yet or heard anything from Chelsea about it, so emailed to follow up and she responded quickly and said she would take care of it within the next 24 hours. A week later, then two weeks, then a month, no refund and the owner completely ghosted us after several follow-ups. Contacted VRBO but apparently they want you to resolve it directly, but leave you only one option if you don't get a response, which is leave a bad review, so hopefully she'll be more responsive to others in the future.

Just okay
We were in Cabin 8. Check in was via passcode. Unfortunately management is not on site to address issues in person. For example, there were not sheets for the pull out bed in the room so I contacted Chelsea and she gave me instructions to go get sheets from the maintenance area. Both rooms had cove heating with really bright lights on them. They illuminated the rooms at night. We figured out how to turn them off after the first night, but only after contacting Chelsea. The switch to the outdoor light didn’t work, so we had to unscrew the bulb so bright light wasn’t streaming into the room. It was still pretty bright at night despite the blinds. The toaster oven was super dirty but everything else in the kitchen was clean. Water pressure was not great, especially in the kitchenette. We could not make any phone calls without leaving the room and there was no landline. Internet was generally very slow. No DVD player or way to watch movies other than what’s on the TV. Not a big deal if you want to be off the grid but if you need reception and entertainment, go elsewhere. The bedroom was huge with lots of space. Chelsea checked in on us several times and was responsive to our messages. The views are really nice and there is easy access to town and hiking. The propane grill was also useful. For the price we paid, though, we’d choose to stay elsewhere in the future.

Finding location
vrvo site needs to be corrected as property name said Quaint and Cozy Cabins. The name is Destination Oak Creek and that is not noted anywhere as we drove back and forth looking for it. We stopped at the place that looked like the pics and asked another renter. They said they had had the same property. As far as the place I thought it was great. Perfect for our stay and the grounds were beautiful Would stay there again. The only thing I would suggest as we had friends in another unit. We brought cards and could not play as no table. The little bar is not even good enough for eating. Put in a high table and use existing chairs. If we came again we would have to lug a folding table and chairs.

Great for Families
This is the second time my family has stayed at this location. I believe it will be a annual place for us and each time we visit we think of more ways to have fun. There is a large green turf area near the waterfall. We ended up buying a soccer ball for kids and bocce to play as a family. I would suggest if you have the ability, bring some outdoor activities that don't require to stake into the ground. We saw another family had purchased lawn darts. There is only one with a private patio and the other ones share the back patio with small separators between each cabin. Each one has a table, four chairs and a BBQ. We used the BBQ on our second visit and it was so nice to hang out in the back patio area. Across from the cabins is a private path to the creek. It is beautiful and can be somewhat secluded. As for the cabin, we stayed in two different ones. Each one had either kitchen items missing or just not stock with items. For instance, our first cabin had a bowl for mixing pancake batter. The second room didn't have a bowl so I had to use a medium size sauce pan. There is also no measuring cups/spoons, so you'll either want to bring them or buy them once you get there. I ended up using the 1 cup mason jar for sugar packets. The electric plug in stovetop wasn't working properly on our first visit, so I ended up bringing our own electric griddle for second visit. On cleanliness, both times the floor wasn't clean. This time the sleeper sofa had wrappers in the bed and clothes and debris underneath. There a couple of cool hikes really close as well as slide rock. We decided to hike the West Fork. It did not disappoint. It has a lot of traffic if you have concerns with Covid. We ended up going on a Monday and I'm sure if it we were there on a weekend, it would have had even more people. Expect to get up early for any of the hikes or slide rock if you want to get a good parking spot or place. All in all, it was a great place, but just has some minor things to work on. Again, we will most likely make it a tradition to go each year.

Simple but beautiful stay!
Had an amazing time staying here. rented out all the rooms with a wedding group so it was so nice to walk between the rooms so easily and the big grass space was so nice for us to gather. Stairs up are steep and definitely rough to unpack your car, but once up the views are great and it’s quite relaxing. Only bummer was our controller for our tv only half worked, no volume and weren’t able to change the channel in the living space.

Not the cleanest but I would come back!
I would stay here again. That being said, the cleanliness of the cabin was not amazing. I wiped down all remotes and switches myself. There was still trash in the bathroom from the previous guests, including used feminine products. Did I mention, this we are still deep COVID times. The Window shade in the living room was broken and did not stay open to see the amazing view. I stayed at the property by myself most of the week. It was great. It was quiet and I felt safe and comfortable. Once other guests arrived for the weekend, I realized how thin the walls were. I woke up to screaming children. Other than these mentionables, my stay was great and would come back!

Convenient and Sufficient
The unit is in a great location. You're away from town, but only takes 15 minutes to get back. Great access to trails. Cleanliness was a small issue. With Covid, I was expecting a little more. Door handles were sticky, dishes and silverware were dirty/missing, so we went with paper and plastic except for cooking. The unit is upgraded, and in good condition overall. However, I did need to clean some stains in the shower, clean dirty remotes, and some food smudged in the eating area, which all should have been done before we arrive. Grill was very convenient and my son loved the back patio area, right into the red rocks. We were looking forward to the fire pit, but it was in a different location than the photos, and was not working (gas was full, it would light, but not stay lit.) We ended up roasting marshmallows over the grill. I would be happy staying here again. I just feel the property and unit needs to be cared for a bit better.
