Room 204: Hibernation Station

Adults-only apartments in Clarkdale
This restored historic apartment is close to Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood, Sedona. It's great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Our one bedroom apartments are very similar in size and amenities. We endeavor to provide you with the specific unit you inquired about if at all possible, but we can promise that you will not feel disappointed. Second floor full suite with kitchen, living area, and separate bedroom. King bed. Tiled shower, no tub. The bedroom, though comfortable and nicely appointed, has no windows, and is great for late sleepers. The bathroom is roomy and bright, with some Sedona views. Can accommodate up to 2 people. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need for dining and cooking. SLEEPING Bedroom 1 1 king bed THE SPACE The Clarkdale Lodge is an historic building that was built in 1914 and originally used as a boarding house for unmarried employees of the local copper smelter. It was subsequently converted into apartments which we are now modernizing to a high standard while preserving historic details where possible. All apartments are tastefully furnished and have HDTV's in both sitting and bedrooms. High speed Internet access is provided throughout via WiFi, and kitchens are fully equipped and ready to use. The deck you see in the photos is a large shared area accessed from the upstairs hall. It has gorgeous views and makes a perfect place to sit and have a glass of wine in the early evenings. There is a shaded patio area underneath it on the ground floor for when the weather is too warm to sit in the sun. GUEST ACCESS In addition to the apartment you are staying in, all guests have access to a public sitting area upstairs stocked with books and games, and a second story view deck overlooking the Verde Valley. NEIGHBORHOOD Only a 10 minute drive to historic (and happening) towns of Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood, and red rocks of Sedona, Clarkdale itself offers the Verde Canyon Railroad, river rafting, wine tasting, restaurants, neighborhood bars, a bakery/cafe, and museums! Great little quirky place - close to Jerome and Cottonwood
We loved our stay at the Clarkdale Lodge! It was fabulous having a little family room and kitchen separate from our bedroom. Plenty of space for the two of us! Lots of parking, easy to access our apartment. Several common spaces for all guests to use, including a great side deck where you can watch the sunset. This location is right across the street from the Clarkdale park, so its a nice and quiet location. Merely a 5 min drive to Cottonwood and all their cute wineries and shops and places to eat! Super convenient. Also very close drive to Jerome to explore.

We really did love this cozy, clean gem. It was clean and felt like home away from home. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint and it’s a big one, the ac unit in the bedroom never worked so it was very uncomfortable at night.

Summer Vacation
This was the perfect place for our summer vacation. We enjoyed our time there. Breakfast at Charlotte's Café on Main St. is a must!!

First we were moved to room 205 due to a scheduling glitch which is understandable. I really liked the the rear deck accessible to all which over looked a valley where there was an old mine and incredible views. I also liked the the roominess of the apartment and having a fully stocked kitchen. The feel of the place is nostalgic. Will definitely book again if my adventures travels take me to the camp verde/cottonwood area.
