"This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. They also gave grate advice on a nice local restaurant at the bottom of a locals Mt that you can hike after to see...

"The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The kaiseki provided was very tasty and local, with staff who are knowledgeable about the food and the area. The indoor and outdoor onsen were comfortable and relaxing. We had a good time and enjoyed some very reasonably priced and tasty umeshu while there. Highly recommended!"
