"Very convenient to Newberry and sights we wanted to see. Located VERY near a train track that wasn't too active. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. Although if you are scent sensitive it wouldn't be good. My allergies were really bothered by something in the cabin. Again, very neat & comfortable though.Felt quite rustic, road was busy with random traffic to the river. Bath & kitchen were very well stocked. Coffee maker was a real plus as was the nice refrigerator. Water pressure was great...

"Anyone looking for a quiet, clean room at a reasonable rate...this place is it. The woman owner takes great pride in her property and it shows. The room was clean to perfection. The bedding appeared new. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo and conditioner packets and soap. The air conditioner was cold, the room was quiet. I never even heard neighbors pull in. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful with ideas of things to do a ways to get there. I would highly recommend this property. It is about .7 mile out of towns no walking to town."

"In God’s creation there are certainly many amazing places to visit and experience. This great little cabin on this pristine lake surly belongs on that list. The lake is crystal clear and the fishing was incredible; at one point I had a fish (smallmouth) on 4 casts in a row, each one more fun than the last! The kitchen provided everything we needed and the grill worked like a charm. Yes, it is remote - (a good thing), yes, you have to be prepared - (bring jugs of water along with your food and bedding), but your efforts will pay you back in spades when you sit on the dock, breathe the air and just absorb the miracle of nature and this special place."
