“Where do we begin! The Upper Rideau bnb is by far one of the best bnb’s we’ve had the pleasure to experience. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Donna we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and we had our own ensuite that included a large jacuzzi bath ( which we used to soak our tired muscles from two days of kayaking). The breakfast was a chef’s dream with wonderful baked goodies and daily full hot meals of eggs, bacon, fruit and toast. Absolutely,……

“What a fabulous stay! Mary greeted us as we arrived and she and her staff met all of our expectations! And then some…. The property itself is stunning. The rooms tastefully appointed with such comfy beds. The food incredible - tastiest salmon I’ve had! The entertainment fabulous. We absolutely loved our stay at the Cove. It felt so homey from checkin to dinner to the lovely continental breakfast in the morning. A truly memorable experience. We hope to return!”

“This was a beautiful property and the cottage we stayed in was lovely. It had great open spaces and beautiful bedrooms. The kitchen was very modern with all new appliances. The host was very attentive and friendly. He made sure that all of our needs were met. He directed us to local attractions and offered to light our fire for us.The only drawback for us was the walk to the waterfront. There is a steep hill that has stairs, but as we are both seniors and my partner has had an ankle……

Was a great cottage vacay with beautiful lakeside access and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway into nature.Pool was very clean and perfect for the hot summer days. We also had our dogs with us which in discussing with the owner he was very accommodating in ensuring our entire family had a great stay.”
