“So many complaints with this cottage. Biggest one is that the pool doesn't even have a pump that cleans it. Water is extremely dirty with a grime sheen seen on top of it. Upon asking Mike, he just makes excuses and false promises. Hot water tub is frigid cold and is also filthy. Looks like it's used in the pictures to attract people. Other reviewers either don't care about cleanliness or are fake. Inside the cottage, 2 out of 5 showers don't get hot water, toilet seats are broken. We saw a dead...

“Very clean and comfortable room. We were visiting our daughter and spent very little time at the hotel, so can’t really give an accurate opinion of amenities. A suggestion would be to put towel racks in the bathroom. Overall, a very quiet and comfortable stay.”

“Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. ”

“The house and our room were exactly as expected, full of charm and very comfortable. The staff we met were also just wonderful, so welcoming and accommodating. Make sure to review the hotel policies and open/closed amenities before you book (the website isn't clear on those). Additionally, I wish we had simple access to the in-room fridge (which apparently is for mini-bar items only) -- we love shopping local and often that includes perishables. ”
