“So many complaints with this cottage. Biggest one is that the pool doesn't even have a pump that cleans it. Water is extremely dirty with a grime sheen seen on top of it. Upon asking Mike, he just makes excuses and false promises. Hot water tub is frigid cold and is also filthy. Looks like it's used in the pictures to attract people. Other reviewers either don't care about cleanliness or are fake. Inside the cottage, 2 out of 5 showers don't get hot water, toilet seats are broken. We saw a dead……

“Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. ”

“The staff were super sweet and compassionate. You can tell they really care about every detail that will make their guest feel comfortable and at peace. The only downside for me was that the rooms didn’t have a microwave, toaster, or iron, which are things I usually need when I book a place. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned on their booking page, but I was in a rush and didn’t notice, so I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t heat up my food.
