“We loved staying in this tiny cabin! The campground was a little far from the beach but it had so much fun stuff to do that we didn’t mind. Excited to come back and see the new pool this summer also. Wonderful staff and excellently laid out activities ”

“We loved our stay here. The home was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. Check in/out was easy. The surrounding property is lush and private. Very family and dog friendly. 4x4 is of course a must, as it’s a hike from the pavement down the beach. Grocery/food options are nonexistent nearby but the seclusion is what makes this area special.”

“My husband and I were fortunate to spend 8 days here. The home is lovely and the owners have provided such thoughtful touches. The pups have their own blankets, bowls, and beds available. Unlike many rentals, even laundry detergent and fabulous name-brand coolers are available for your use. It feels like you are at a friend’s home. There are personal pictures and even a coffee table made from the owners’ wedding sign. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! This is assuming you like……

“I always travel with my two dogs. The host had dog water bowls full when we arrived. I’ve never had a host go to that length. The kitchen was well equipped! We have nothing negative about this host or home! ”

Two of our 3 children leave the nest this summer/fall, one to basic training and one to college, so we wanted a quiet spot w/ lots of opportunities for family fun and time together. This was perfect. We spent every waking moment out on the canal or in the yard. The SUPs & kayak were used daily. Our youngest was on the water every chance he got. We cooked every meal in the very well stocked kitchen. I made shrimp & grits, ceviche, fish tacos, steak & oysters, biscuits &……

“This is a five star VRBO! The house was very new, and very clean. There are a bunch of amazing, thoughtful, touches - including dog bowls, dog towels, lots of Ziploc bags, Tupperware, the list goes on. The neighborhood pool is great and access to the beach is great. Plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. I stayed at a lot of VRBO rentals, and this one is top-notch. If you’re on the fence, just book it.”

“The kids (5&7) loved the games and the backyard pool. It was an easy drive to the beach (and the property had everything we would need for the beach!) The house had everything we would need. The community pool was also a big hit for my kids (and they enjoyed the craft activities). ”

“This was our first time staying on the sound side of OBX. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming and the boat shuttle to the beach. The option to add a golf cart rental was helpful in shuttling the kids and supplies back and forth. We would definitely come back!”

Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!”

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet yet we still had easy access to other parts of OBX. “Everything we needed in one place! Quiet and cozy, we loved the hot tub and enjoying the porch in the evenings. Everything was clean and Kristen was amazing when we needed her! This was a perfect vacation spot for our first time in Carova. We will definitely come back”
