"Everything about the hotel is amazing. Check in timing is 3pm and we came early. They did the check in and helped us (family of 6 adults) to keep our luggages to the assigned rooms. Room cleaning was excellent. The best is Toyota rental south exit is located beside the hotel. Lawson and 7-11 are nearby. The only thing is the breakfast buffet. The waiter and waitresses seem to focus on local guests. They took more than 5 mins to clear the plates. We seated straight near the window where a lot of guests passes by. Otherwise, this hotel is perfect. The north exit bus stop provided shuttle bus (Chuo bus) at 1300 yen to New chitose domestic terminal."

"The property was centrally located in Otaru, within minutes of walking to the canal and the main dining street. The room was spacious in Japanese standard, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast spread was luxurious, but it also required a timed entry ticket. One thing to note is that do not park in the hotel lot -- the parking lot down the same street had lower rate (800 yen for 24 hrs). "

"Very good breakfast with 3 place in option. Foods quality are high level. Perfact location for everythings. But bed condition is little bit hard.(not double mettress) Room and all public area very clean. Staffs are kind and helpful."

"Size of room is good for Japanese standard. Onsen in the hotel is the highlight. Walking distance to restaurants and ramen street. "

"Great experience. With both indoor and outdoor public bath plus sauna. Free ramen from 9:30pm till 11pm. Free popsicle during the day till late at night. Located just right across the train station and the fish market . Excellent value for the price. Hotel itself is old but is clean and got everything we need. "

"This was my second stay at the Tenza. Everything went well and no complaints at all. I’ve got to know more about the area near by and found a nice coffee shop. I went there twice because the coffee at the hotel was a bit sour for me and wanted to have a better taste for my day to start. Breakfast buffet has a great variety of food choices for everyone. Onsen and sauna as well as massage chairs were great bonuses to have after walking/working to relax your body and mind. Both massage chairs were not functioning well but, I am sure they will eventually replace them for their customer satisfaction. "
