"Very Nice Hotel Just Outside of Yosemite"
Our family really enjoyed our stay. Beautuful cozy hotel; Nice spacious room; comfortable beds; just a couple of miles outside of Yosemite. We also appreciated the amenities like the indoor pool and hot tub and the coin-operated laundry facilities and then in-room Kerrigan. There are just a few things that i would like to see improvements. We would have really appreciated a microwave in the room to be able to heat up leftovers and such. Also the shower water pressure was very weak. We ate one morning at the buffet. Nice spread but not worrth $20/person. Overall, it was a very nice hotel and would consider staying again in the future.

"Wonderful "
The bed was comfy, the hotel staff was nice. Though I couldn't check in early which was unfortunate, they have a little park for the kids and a pool/spa (when it's not shut down for renovating). There's a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, extra pillows upon request. The room was nice. This place takes you to yosemite rapidly, and no one goes this way! But the road was closed when I stayed, so the detour was so bad and long, but they notified me about the road closure and let me cancel if I wanted to.

"You pay for convenience, not service or quality"
This was my second stay at Juniper Springs in 2 years. While convenient and pleasant enough, it's hard to feel good about the high in-season rates given the run-down condition of the building and the less-than-professional staff. I checked in late one evening with a sleeping 6 year old, and asked if based on room location, should I unload at the lobby and carry my son up from there. She advised me to park in the garage, which in fact was nearly full and required a longer walk carrying luggage and a sleeping 50lb kid. Then when I got to the room, neither key worked. I went back down to lobby, my kid now awake, and informed her my keys didn't work. She tested the key on her machine and said "oh, it's blank. Oops." and handed me new keys, no apology given. The next morning, at the lockers, I tried the combo she had provided at check in. Didnt' work. Checked with front desk again, and the person looked up the room locker combo and had something totally different on file. Annoying. The condition of the flooring, carpets and hallways is rather worn - not terrible, but not what I could call well-maintained. The cleaning staff attended to rooms late - twice I came back to room at 3p and it still had not been cleaned. Then the halls were vacuumed at 830p at night, when people with kids are back in the room trying to sleep. The service crew were constantly talking in their office/staff area with door open. They were nice, but not highly professional.

"Beautiful hotel nestled in the trees. "
We had no idea what to expect and to our delight the hotel was excellent. We ate in the cafe while there and the evening staff were very nice, the morning staff not so. We would definitely return. Unfortunately we were there for a funeral and needed a place to stay overnight. Very pleasant surroundings!!

We just stayed one night, was perfectly fine. Hotel is cute on the outside and is in a great, central location to shops and restaurants. The rooms were a tad dated and could use a bit of a freshening up.

"Heart of Mammoth"
Beautiful, everything is right there, pools, Jacuzzi, gondola/lifts to ski. When it snows you will feel like you are really, really in a village, you don't have to do much, just enjoy the beauty of mother nature. However everything closes very early like 8, Starbucks, some restaurants. I wish there are more activities for kids, like bowling/arcades. Once everything closed, only the nightclub is open that is Friday and Saturday and that is it.

"Nice hotel not very far from dining ski rental."
Overall it was good. There is a ski rental a block away and places to eat a few blocks. Almost in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop that will take you to ski chalets but I drove since I didn't want to wait 20 minutes in the cold.
