“Experience this tropical retreat on beautiful Siesta Key. Hale Akala is a stand alone villa with its own private entrance to an expansive community pool that sports loungers for sunning or shade. The pool is literally steps away from a thoughtfully appointed screened lanai. Enjoy an alfresco meal or just relaxing with a cold beverage from the lanai’s fridge.
The open floor plan makes it easy to spend time together and enjoy the surrounding lush vegetation that’s easily seen through the villa’s double sliding glass doors and windows. Enjoy the oversized flat screen HDTV from either the living room’s leather sectional or from the fully equipped kitchen. Watch something different on the flat screen HDTV in the King master bedroom with en-suite and double sliding glass doors that lead back out to the lanai. An updated and well organized walk-in closet has lots of space for hanging and shelves or drawers for folded clothing, in addition to a designated space for 2 large rollers. The queen guest room has an extra wide closet with shelves, chest of drawers, and shares a full bath with the rest of the villa.
There are two designated parking spots for Hale Akala in the carport and driveway. A full size stacked washer and dryer are located in the carport closet, along with most items needed to enjoy a few hours on the beautiful quartz sand beaches of Siesta Key.
Enjoy the Sarasota Bay breezes as you relax with a drink at sunset on the community dock overlooking the inter coastal waterway. Drop a fishing line over the railing and you’re likely to hook a snapper or snook.

The neighborhood, Polynesian Gardens, is wonderful. Beautiful landscaping everywhere with a nice small dock on the bayside. Great location.

Wonderful home and property
We loved spending March in this lovely property. The home was comfortable, the community was friendly and welcoming (mix of renters and owners), and having the pool right outside our door was very convenient. The pool and grounds are all kept up very well, with plenty of seating near the pool. While the bedrooms could use some updated (and brighter) lighting, everything was comfortable. The updated kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms, while small, had updated shower fixtures, plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. The lanai is fully enclosed, gets the setting sun, and offers more lovely space to eat, relax, and view the action at the pool, too! One or two chaise lounges there would make it perfect! The walk to the beach using Beach Access 12 (closest public beach access point) is a good 1/2 mile away, which meant we didn't spend as much time at the beach as we had hoped. We ended up driving to Siesta Key beach and parking there. Overall, we loved it!
