My first room 229 was gross! They had a water issue in the bathroom that stained the floor wall and door, it was so bad they took the room out of service. The next room had an air conditioner that was so loud that when it went off you realized that it was a blessing to have it on since the road noise was loud as well. The room came with wooden shutters that were broken and dim not keep the the neon lights from the hotel out of your room. For a hotel that wants to be a Resort and charges a resort fee this placed failed. Beach chairs. I can’t say enough about this place. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was great! Happy hour at Breeze’s bar was still expensive but pretty place. I loved this resort. Very nice outdoor seating areas and great views! Although we heard it had just been updated, it appeared very dated. The hotel room decor was cute. The hotel was maybe 60% full and we had to wait until exactly 4 to get checked into our room that was located on the first floor overlooking the parking lot. We paid for a partial view, that was a generous statement. Front desk personnel had some helpful and some curt people. Happy hour had great service. The best part was being able to rent boats and jet skis right on property. We traveled as a family of 5 (3 adult children). The pool was heated and fun to swim at night. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beach was relaxing and comfortable with a good mix of sun and shade. The water had a bunch of seaweed and ocean life which was fun to check out and wade, I didn't swim in the ocean, although others at the resort did. The starfish fire pit at night was a beautiful touch. The view from our balcony room was stunning! I wanted a tropical feel, but in the continental US- and that’s what I got! Room was spotless and beautiful views. Restaurants on site were delicious and accommodating to my dietary needs. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I loved that they had onsite laundry facilities. And there’s a microwave in the lobby. I would recommend another hot tub - for historic lows in Florida like we had on our trip. Hot tub was always packed. We will absolutely be back! We had a King partial view room on the 3rd floor and the view was spectacular. The rooms was clean and nicely laid out. The pool area was large and nice with a bar on one side. The parking is terrible. We had a normal sized sedan and barely got our car out the spot. We had to go back and forth inch by inch to get out.
