“The Bear Mountain Lodge is a real treat. Small enough to feel private and exclusive, large enough to feel professional and welcoming. Our breakfasts were beautiful homemade meals with fresh ingredients and served with a smile. The entire lodge is spotlessly clean. The staff is thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. I hope to comeback someday in the future. Don’t miss this gem. ”

“The property welcomes pets. The staff is very friendly. The lodge is about 10 minutes from Silver City. The Buckhorn Restaurant is nearby and quite good. The lodge rooms are dark and need attention but it sits in the woods and that makes it peaceful. ”

“I was really pleased with the easy check in and the cleanliness of the room. The room had a table, three chairs, and all the expected amenities. Tonight I'm staying at a costly motel in Payson (Majestic Mountain) at more than twice the price. No table, not a single chair, no soap, no coffee maker, and nowhere to set up a laptop! The Lulu is twice as good at less than half the price!”

“The pool was perfect for the kids. We had the two king suite which was fantastic for 2 adults and 4 kids. Breakfast was good, kids wanted bacon or sausage but McDonalds was across the street. ”
