“A gem of a place, and a gem of an innkeeper! The nourishing and tasty homemade breakfasts fueled us every morning for the bounty of activities within an easy walk (historic sites, art museums, and plenty of libations). The host has amassed her own wonderful collection of stories, things, and recommendations which made this a great home base for our excursions to Chaco Canyon (3.75 hrs) and Ojo Caliente mineral springs (1 hr). We could have easily spent another week. The occasional morning Bach……

“Beautiful B&B. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Nightlight would be helpful given the several steps outside the bathroom. Quiet and peaceful location.”

“The casa itself was interesting and clean, fun to stay in. Breakfast was enjoyable; presentaton was simple. We would make one suggestion: knowing limited huoman resources and water etc., some extra attention to the grounds would go a long ways to a welcoming and hanging-out atmosphere. Oh, one other thing we noticed that could be improved--depending on water pressure--the shower head in the Luminaria room (where we loved the patio door windowsi) provided very small spray,”

“This property is such a beautiful and unique place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. It once belonged to the poet/writer Witter Bynner. Each of the 9 rooms is themed to the writer or one of his friends. We stayed in the DH Laurence room. It was complete with some of this DH’s books, as well as many other wonderful literary works to sample either in the lovely outdoor space or the the beautiful living room. Breakfast each day was served in the lovely dining room where we had the wonderful……

“We reserved the breakfast on two of the mornings that we were there. We had been here before for their multi-course breakfast and this is why we had decided to actually stay here the next time we were in Santa Fe. Breakfast IS a MUST! We sat on the patio and really enjoyed it both mornings. It is a beautiful boutique inn, where they truly really just leave you alone and they make up your room every day while you are out. Parking is great for larger vehicles, which is not always the case in Santa……
