“Wir hatten eine Suite mit Privatpool. Das Hotel liegt abseits von der Innenstadt, die man jedoch mit dem Bus im halben stündigen Abstand gut erreichen kann. Eine einzige Taverne ist fußläufig in der Nähe, wenn man auswärts essen möchte. Das Essen wird im Buffet angeboten. Das Personal ist immer nett und höflich, aber es gibt viel Personal was kein englisch, deutsch oder selbst griechisch sprechen kann. Die Verständigung war somit schwierig. Das Putzpersonal ist unfähig gewesen frische Handtücher……

“Eigentlich alles perfekt - bis auf das Essen. Bin wirklich nicht verwöhnt, aber sowohl Fisch als auch Fleischgerichte waren IMMER nicht genießbar: zu Tode gegrillt oder gebraten. Kein Saft, kein Geschmack, hart & zäh. Ferner war das Live Cooking im Restaurant aufgrund einer fehlenden leistungsstarken Abzugsanlagen eine Räucherei der Gäste. Hier ist noch ganz viel Luft nach oben. Würde das Hotel aufgrund der Küche nicht nochmal buchen.”

“Dieses Hotel war mit Abstand das schlechteste, in dem ich je übernachtet habe. Selbst zwei Sterne sind für dieses Hotel noch zu viel. Das einzig Positive waren die freundlichen Mitarbeiter vom Housekeeping und im Restaurant. Die Zimmer wirkten nur oberflächlich sauber, waren aber in Wirklichkeit schmutzig. Das Badezimmer unseres Zimmers war voller Schimmel – absolut inakzeptabel. Unser Zimmer hatte außerdem einen privaten Pool, der ebenfalls schmutzig war und offensichtlich nicht regelmäßig……

“We had a fantastic relaxing time at Creta Royal hotel. Hotel staff were very professional and attentive. Hotel and room were spotless all areas cleaned everyday. Food was amazing both at breakfast and dinner with lots of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians something different everyday. Desserts were also varied and enjoyable.Beach and pool areas were wonderful. Enough chairs and parasols for everyone. Bus number 20 is 2 euros into rethymno old town easy and accessible. Bus is evey hour.……

“Hôtel familial, pas très grand bien situé non loin de panormos ou vous pourrez aller flaner et manger dans de bons restaurants. Belle vue sur la mer, hôtel très minimaliste et calme pour les personnes qui recherchent la simplicité. La piscine est grande et très peu fréquentée pour ceux et celles qui souhaitent en profiter et offre un super cadre sur la mer. Petit déjeuner très simple qui mériterait peut être un peu plus de variété. Stella malgré la barrière de la langue reste très accessible……

“Suite bellissima e confortevole. Per come sono io devo dire che ho solo 2 appunti da fare. Ok la Jacuzzi che fa lusso però non è per nulla pratica per quando uno è in una zona di mare, meglio una bella doccia spaziosa ed una zona toilette più utilizzabile. Secondo appunto il vetro cemento nel soffitto magari anche no perché se si vuole un minimo di oscurità per poter dormire un po' la mattina qui non vi e'. Colazione super personale attento e gentile.”

Buffett was extensive and changed every night. Rooms were great all sea facing. I preferred room on a higher floor. Would be nice to have an atm in site but there is one across the road at their sister hotel where the beach is. Hope to be back again!”

“This is like no hotel we have ever experienced, and we have travelled extensively. This is a converted Hamam from the 17thC with all the modern amenities. The room had been the warming room of the Hamam and includes a private steam bath. A large dome is central to the room, as is the comfortable bed. Beautiful tile work. And a delightful host who answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions.”

“This is a unique property with spectacular rooms, incredible service, a delicious breakfast and the beach across the road with reserved beach chairs. The staff were so helpful and there was nothing that was too difficult. There were heaps of restaurants and shops close by and a short walk to the old town. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.”
