The trail to Beckler Peak opened in Sept 2011. Lovely new hike to a series if three peaks that comprise Beckler Peak. The photo contains the two eastern peaks, neither accessible via the trail (at least one requires rope to summit). The trail ends at the non-technical west peak, from which this photo was snapped. Note Sloan Peak in the distance in the center-right background.

House was clean and had everything I needed. It was quiet day and night despite a busy rail line across the street. Location for activities on the Stevens Pass area was ideal. I had trouble with my rental car while there, but the entire town was within walking distance of the house, so no worries. ...
