"The wanderers retreat is a lovely spot. We will definitely be back. It was only a short drive to the town centre but felt like you were out in your own private rainforest. There was so much wildlife. A magpie family that visit several times a day, kookaburras and even a couple of cheeky possums. "

"The house was perfect for the family us and our 3 married children and their kid- 6years and 3 x18 month old. There was plenty of room and access to the quiet shady beach was perfect. It's an easy walk to Bannisters/Crazy Dog for coffee so we all had plenty of space and things to do. Shopping at Nelson Bay (15 minutes) was excellent with Coles Woollies etc. Several frides and cooking facilities."
