“We stayed at this property for 9 nights. Although it is a nice property, it misrepresented its amenities in the Expedia posting. The posting lists two pools and a beach, both of which are correct. However, it doesn't mention that you need to purchase drinks/food from the two restaurants to use the amenities. That was at least $30-$40 daily just for drinks for the three of us. In addition, one of the two pools is gated for a handful of higher-priced rooms and not open to all property patrons.”

“Rooms were very clean Staff was extremely helpful Loved the all adult pool Waters and the beach was amazingly beautiful.”

“Kelly was not too hospitable and all the other Front Desk staff was great! She seemed as if she wasn’t happy to be there. We come on vacation to see cheerful, happy things, but I didn’t get that energy from her. Made it a gloom hoping she wasn’t at the desk when I went in for a question. The Resort is located in a centralized location, close to everything. Casino, Mambo Beach, Downtown, Restaurants, etc. I have to come back and have a redo.”

“The spaciousness of the garden villa was excellent! Plenty of room to spread out although it was only 2 of us. The 2 bathrooms were convenient with both of us getting dressed. The kitchen had everything we needed including a corkscrew. The A/C is only in the bedrooms, and with the open air concept with shutters, it is not recommended to leave the A/c on with the bedroom door open. That being said, it can get hot. You do have to pay for electricity for anything over your 10kw/day; however, we……

“This resort is the best ever that we stayed when vacationing. It has everything we like, the room with beautiful ocean view, beautiful beaches, very friendly staff (especially Mr. Movie star/Celebrity… always smiling with joy to guests and Mr Vic always made guests feeling at home with his charms), excellent foods, tranquility and Serenity with Caribbean feelings. Thanks to Avila staff made this happening. We will be back next year with another 2 weeks.”
