“Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation.
Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall.
Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style.
Perfect, if you want something different from the standard resorts.

“We stayed just one night before catching our flight, and it was perfect. The home is calm and only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made things so convenient. The room was spotless, with wonderfully cool air conditioning, fresh towels, and a lovely walk‑in shower. I especially appreciated how safe it felt, the owner provided a remote key for the gate so we could come and go securely. The bed was incredibly comfortable and of great quality, making it easy to rest before our travels.……
