“The view from our room was gorgeous and the enclosed balcony with heater was an unexpected bonus. The room was nice but thought the bathroom looked ‘tired’.
From previous reviews, I thought the hotel would feel much more special than it did. We were here to celebrate a special birthday ( which the hotel were aware of) but that seemed to pass them by.
Dinner in the evening was ok ( the staff were very pleasant) but again, I’d hoped the food would be excellent and it wasn’t.

“Double room on small size. Bed was a small double. Sea view was lovely. Breakfast was good. Limited parking managed to get space for 3 nights. Had problem with leaking toilet from 1st day. Reported every day, never seemed to resolve. Towels stuffed at back of toilet to soak up. Not great. Only sorted we think on day left.”

“Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy.
Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential!
Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned ”

“No evening restaurant was a bit inconvenient
The only real issue is there is only parking for about 7 cars which has to be prebooked and nothing tells you when booking on the site
So we had to find on street parking some way away.”

“The room was very spacious and clean. No fridge, fan or usb points.
Lovely big balcony.
Staff on reception desk were helpful.
Drinks at the bar were expensive.
Breakfast was ok, but the hot food was burnt and dried out by the time we got down there at 9.15 am, so we went down earlier the following day.
A walk down the hill to restaurants, bars and the harbour.”
