“Good stay. Can't say much for 3 stars hotel really. Service is good.”

“Poor parking on arrival outside space in disrepair and overgrown. Met by a man who hardly spoke English. Dirty/musty smell hit you when he opened the front door- wet carpet smell. Shown to the room through a large room with 1980’s furniture pushed against the walls. Opened the door to the corridor and the heat from the radiator hit you. On entering the room carpet dirty (years) not days - everything covered in a layer of dust. 3 cups provided no saucer. Bottom 2 had biscuit remnants inside. ……

“Good stay, however hair on the bed and the condition of the room was not great. Staff in the bar - 2 young girls chatting amongst themselves and not willing to help guests. Not great customer service- good for kids and good entertainment”

“The people here are uniformly lovely, eager to please and generally excellent. The property is apparently being run on an absolute shoe string and the budget doesnt run to the basic maintenance of “anything”. Its a time warp back to the 70’s in most regards - and that appears to be the last time anything saw a lick of paint. I met a lot of lovely staff for whom nothing was too much trouble - but the ownership is giving them absolutely nothing to work with. A warren of a hotel that seems largely……
