"I rented Anna’s beautiful home for my son’s wedding weekend. It was the perfect house for entertaining immediate family for wedding preparations and activities! We enjoyed a barbecue out in the backyard overlooking the mountains the night before with the fire roaring in the natural firepit on the patio. "Our group of 4 couples enjoyed our stay. It is pet friendly and some in our group did have allergies to the previous pet dander. It was generally clean but needed an air purifier for previous smells like cigarettes not an air freshener. The oven and stove were not very user friendly but we did eventually figure it out. "Overall we had a nice stay but there are a few things that future guests should be aware of and some improvements I feel are needed to make the stay more comfortable. Pros: The house was very clean. Beds are very comfortable!! Rooms are a good size and the living room had a cozy fireplace with blankets for many to enjoy. Updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were modern and nice. Kitchen has many pots and pans and cooking utensils stocked and there is a K cup coffee maker and a regular one...

"The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Squantz Cottage. Property was well maintained, clean, and convenient. Parking at the cottage can be a little tricky backing out and getting on to the road. An option to park at the main house could be helpful. I would definitely rent again!"
