"This is a small and cozy hotel has a breathtaking view of the area. It is a little off the beaten path allowing us to have peaceful rest. The owner was very lovely and friendly, doing everything from the cleaning to meal prep while we were there. This property is located at the top of a steep hill, and driving up it can be tricky if you are not used to it."

"Stayed May 27th - June 2nd 2025 ....I liked that it was peaceful, welcoming, warm, relaxing and the ambience was everything. The hosts were friendly, intelligent and every guest I met was nice, even though we spoke different languages. I genuinely did not want to leave and will definitely be back. The host put a lot of thought into preparing breakfast every morning and has the best dogs I've ever come across. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and we tend to scrutinize everything outside our country....

"Beautiful old style of a house. Located in Santa Teresa, a hill nearby Centro. Next to Sambodromo. The area ist nice and safe. The owner is a nice family, he and his wife run a good service . Room has to share the bathrooms, it is very clean so it is okay to share. The biggest room has aircondition and nice view. The buildung is old, the law protected from any changing. The owner has to ask for permission for any changing of the house. He is going to do more comfortable for this hotel."
