“Yes, I would (and will) stay here again. The staff of this hotel are some of the nicest people you will meet. I spoke to the desk staff, housekeeping and ate at the restaurant. Staff are extraordinarily polite and friendly. This is an older hotel. It could use a few updates but it works. Some wallpaper could use updates, etc. It really needs a light in the back parking lot for safety. Additionally, I ate at the steakhouse and it was awful. “This is a nice hotel. It’s a bit older, but I stayed in the refurbished, train-themed room. Everything is nice, I just wish the room had more power outlets and an iron & ironing board. Breakfast was just a waffle iron and coffee, but you can find breakfast locally.”

“The sofa bed was not in good shape. The bed was really sloped downard. It was so bad, we could not use it. I complained to the night clerk, and she just stared at me. I told her it was not worth the extra $45 I spent for the room, since the bed was unusable.”

“Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells.
