The hotel is just a little ways off of the tourist path, in a quieter area, but still close by to everything. It's also right on the water.
I book back to back at Xandari because the view was just superb.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a former spice owner's house and is beautifully designed. Situated in the culturally diverse and interesting area of Mattancherry it is only a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk from the main tourist area
My request for a ground-floor room (or) one close to the lift was not even sent to the hotel (according to the hotel manager). The property was not convenient for parking our car and there were too many mosquitoes.
The staff is extremely patient & very helpful. My parents had a very comfortable stay.
There was a great delay in providing news papers whi h should have been at 6 am instead of 8 am
