Good place in split to stay close by everything, the staff nice and helpful. However there is no elevator just be mind full the apartment is on the 3rd floor

Lovely stay in the old part of the city and central to everything. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were greeted by Malena and she brought us some fresh made lemonade. We had booked a large room and there was plenty of room. It is on the third floor so be prepared for the stairs. We would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed two nights in Split at Malena's Palace. Malena herself was very kind and courteous, made us a fresh lemonade on arrival, gave us lots of options for maps to study thr cit. Recommended we go to the main square to watch the ancient roman show. She offered us to do a mini laundry load if needed. The rooms was clean and a good size. The windows were soundproof. Would recommend having shampoo dispenser for the shower. Was happy to syay here!

Had an excellent stay here. Malena was very helpful and even made some lemonade for me. The location is very central and the rooms are clean. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially solo travellers, but please keep in mind that it’s on the third floor and there isn’t and elevator because it is an old building. :)

Lovely, kind host, gave us fresh lemonade and melon on arrival on the beautiful terrace. Stayed here for two nights either side of our trip and both rooms were clean, cool and quiet. V good location in the middle of the bustling old town with a 10 min walk to bus station and ferry port. Would definitely stay here again.

Tucked into Diocletian’s Palace walls, and up 3 flights of stairs, this property offers clean and comfortable rooms in the heart of the many restaurants, bars and shops. Malena is very hospitable.

Charming and helpful. Greeted us with lemonade and cookies. She gave us a brief language lesson. She also encouraged us to utilize the laundry line, which was needed. She also invited us to use the upper floor balcony ( which we didn’t, but still was nice)

Absolutely wonderful stay in old Split

We absolutely loved our stay. The host was the most friendly, welcoming person and gave us recommendations of things nearby to see. The location is absolutely ideal—right I. The heart of things in the old town so that we could come and go as we explored throughout the day! The room was beautiful, with a view of the cathedral above the neighboring rooftops. The host lest us store our bags for the morning after checking out and she was there to see us off at noon!

Had wonderful stay at the Malena Palace. Room was large, brand new, and spotless. Location is perfect, in the middle of everything. And the hostess Malena was so friendly and very helpful. We would stay again !! Just a tip, when you get to the door to the apartments (small sign that says Malena Palace), ring the doorbell and Malena will open the door and greet you and take you to your apartment.

Malena is lovely and attentive. Exceptionally clean and a nice bathroom which isn’t always the case in these tiny places. It’s in the place central area and hard to find. Also she has no way to accept payment except cash. I did not pay Expedia site ahead of time and had to go to ATM to get cash. This should be stated on the website along with 5 flights of stairs to walk up.

Great location and surprisingly quiet rooms given you’re right in the middle of all the action. Booking on Expedia and selecting pay at property only to find out when we arrived that the property only took cash resulted in substantial fees from having to take money out of a bank machine. This was a disappointment

Be prepared for stairs (3 flights). If cne you’re over that it’s a wonderful guest room ( they have 3 rooms). Malena and her husband were super hospitable - Malena offering to let me go to the roof and drink her homemade lemonade. Her husband graciously assisted carrying my medium sized luggage at check in and check out (7am check out even). Location is recessed but no worries once you get to your rooom.
