WORST EVER! We needed to be at an event in the afternoon so asked if there was a way we could do early check in (2 pm instead of 4pm) The response : “no” and he stared blankly at us ..I said ok, can we check our luggage with you then and at least get the check in process done with ID and credit card so you can just leave our room key somewhere or as we can’t back until close to midnight. “No, we can’t do that and you have to be here by 11 or there will be no one here to give you a key” I asked politely at this point “please help me understand, you are not full I know because my app is telling me there are 5 rooms available so why can’t we please just make sure everything is put away in a room or at least have a key but move our things later tonight and this way we know we will be able to get into our room when we are exhausted late tonight and aren’t stressed about meeting someone” His blank stare continued and he just said “that isnt how hotels work” I asked to store our luggage and the guy said you have to go around the side .. I said do we need to move our car and he said no you can just walk and pointed to the outside. He watched us struggle with large suitcases across uneven pavement and stairs and then when we got to the side door, said it would’ve been quicker for us to use the hallway adjacent to the check in (or don’t check in desk) We barely made it and got a room in a far away building on the second floor and the elevators were broken. We lugged luggage up stairs
