This bed and breakfast is charming! Its location is perfect for walking around historic st. Augustine. The room is perfect for a large family. It is a little dated but that’s part of its charm. We loved our stay. We appreciated the pancake breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff.

I stayed one night at PirateHaus. I stay at a lot of hostels and lower cost hotels when traveling with groups (mostly with college students on education abroad programs) and this family-friendly hotel is a great for a centrally located, group friendly, adventure in St. Augustine. Easy walking to numerous tourist and historic sites, as well as food options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is quirky, but fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My granddaughter had to sign up for pancakes every morning and was always so excited to see what her pancakes look like. The staff was amazing.

Staff was very helpful and responsive. Location is great! Place is in bad disrepair. Electrical outlet in bathroom was unusable, cracked and rusted. Caulk in bathroom was cracked, dirty and separated. “Memory Foam” mattress was very uncomfortable, I felt like a rotisserie chicken flipping all night from pain. Continental breakfast was pancakes, syrup only, nothing else at all. AC control not accessible to individual rooms.
