It is a very centralized location and one of the plus was that this hotel is one of the trolley stop making it a very accessible and convenient. The room was okay and it was cleaned with clorox (strong odor first day), room has a small fridge and microwave, two drawers and closet (room with a king size bed). The only disappointment was seeing such a historic hotel so dirty, with dead flowers, dirty ice machine and the pool was very dirty - I was looking forward to swim because of the advertisement of having a pool but no one on the reviews mentioned the deterioration of this hotel. It has the oldest oak in St. Augustine which is one of the attractions on this town. The breakfast was really good. The staff when I did check out was friendly. Overall the stay was okay.

Very nice property. We would stay again, was upgraded to a suite, sitting furniture needed updated and TV in sitting area needed to be bigger, but overall very nice. Pool area looked very nice. Complementary breakfast had lots of choices. Rooms were very clean.

Looks like they tried updating the room but it’s far from done. The mattress is horrible. You can feel the metal. The sheets are stained with what seemed to be rust. The AC unit is loud and kicks on and off every 5-8 minutes. There peacocks and cats outside which decide to make noises throughout the ENTIRE night. The worst 48 hrs I’ve ever had in a place. The only Advantage of this place is that it is 7 mins away from the historic district.
