The rooms on the adults only side of the property were updated. However, my room was constantly humid and made my clothes and the bed linen feeling damp although the a/c was on. Another issue was an infestation of bugs in our room. When we complained they said the were rain bugs. We did not see them on the first couple of nights when it was dry but only saw them when it rained. Housekeeping did come to our room to clean the bugs from the walls and the floor.
The amenities at this hotel were wonderful. Lots of pools including a lazy river and water slide. The restaurants were great and loved the themed nights where dinner was served by the pool and lots of entertainment. As with many other islands, there was an issue with the sargassum so the beach was unusable. I did see they had a shuttle to other nearby beaches but we did not take advantage. Other than the humidity issue in our room and the bugs, this hotel was great. Staff were also friendly and attentive.
